Location:

The Well is in North Central Front Yard near the Flagpole and the Boat Launch

The Fresh Water Well is a “dug well” constructed in 1965 with three (3) concrete circular tiles each four feet (4 FT) diameter and three feet (3 FT) deep. The well has an in-well pump setup on a “pit-less” quick disconnect decoupler housed inside a six-inch (6 in) PVC pipe.  The pump is a one-half Horsepower (1/2 HP) drilled well type pump.  The pump is operated by electric supply at twenty amps, two hundred, thirty volt (20 Amp, 230 V) on electric breakers #10 and #12 in Subpanel One (1) located in the Garage.

There is a direct pressurized water take-off and combination drain valve installed just above the pump that supplies Fresh Well Warte to a Hydrant Post at the RV Pad. just under the Blue Well-Head Cover There is an Iron Rod Handle that operates the Fresh Water Talke-Off Valve deep inside of the well head casing just above the Back Flow Check Valve at the pump.

Well Lights are available with “Flood Lights” on the Lamp Pole at the well to illuminate The Docks and Boat Launch area. The Well Lights are operated from the switch plate just inside the Garage side entry way door.  The Well Lights are on Braker #16 in Subpanel One (1).

The Iron Pole Handle to the Fresh Water alternate water supply at the RV Pad.

With the Well Head Cover off note the hole in the end of the handle of a crescent wrench over the Iron Pole Handle that operated the Pressurized Water Takeoff to either open the water supply to the hydrant station at the RV Pad or to shut off the water and drain the vertical supply line back into the well.  Note the three-quarter Inch (3/4 in) black take-off water line and the bent wire hanger over the side of the PVC housing to hold the Iron Pole Handel in the Upright Position to keep open the Supply Valve.

At the front of the well and below the top cover stones is an access valve to the supply line from the well to the hydrant at the RV Pad.  The valve is used to drain the supply line by “blowing-them-out” with pressurized air.
