the Northeast corner of Lot #95 and is obvious for its rampway down into the
lake water. Note: The Launch
is next to the popular Picknick area and to the RV-Pad which may mean that
persons including young children may be present while a boat launch or
recovery is underway and close supervision especially of children is
required. Boat

The Boat Launch Ramp is seen here. Note that
on the Survey that the accessway to the Boat Launch on Lot 95 deviates to the
Northwest away from Maple Ridge Drive and traverses over the private property
of Lot #95 and is not a “Right-of-Way”. Use of the Boat Launch on Lot 95 is
by permission only. Permission
to use the “Boat Launch” has been granted on a one-by-one basis to other
island and Cattail Lane residents (Members of Maple Ridge Island Association)
for use at their own risk. Care
should be taken to evaluate each request to use the Launch as launching or
recovering a boat is a complex maneuver involving persons in very close
proximity to moving vehicles pulling heavy boats and trailers and property
damage or injuries can occur if not conducted well. The
maximum size of the boat should be twenty-one feet (21 Ft.) or less depending
upon the skill set of the operator as backing the trailer from the road to
the Launch demands an experienced operator. Regular clearing of “shoreline
debris” that washes up onto the launch is required for clear (appealing)
access to the lake. If the “Electric Goose
Gate Fence” is in use across the Boat Launch additional care and supervision
is required for disconnecting or connecting the wire across the launch. Note that the
connecting point for the wire gate remains charged when the wire is
disconnected and remains a hazard with risk of electric shock. If swimmers,
especially children wading or swimming from the launch area the electric
fence should be turned off. Page File Information: C:\Users\administrator.MAPLERIDGELIVE.001\OneDrive\1StWebsite\119MRD\Grounds_Exterior_Features\Boat_Launch.htm End
