Maple Ridge Island sits just off the South shore of Cobbosseeconte Lake in Central Maine, in the town of Monmouth. The Collaborative is interested in the history of Maple Ridge Island and the preservation and wellbeing of its environment and current living community.

The Maple Ridge Island History Collaborative is a “work in progress” conducted by participating residents, friends and visitors, living, camping on or about the shores of The Island. The Collaborative is especially interested in the personal experiences of individuals who have lived, camped or visited Maple Ridge Island and its nearby shores.
